I hate these pubic hairs

Question:

Dear Auntie Nangy,
I am 13 years old and now my hairs have started to grow. I don’t want these hairs. It doesn’t look nice and I want to shave it all off all the time but it itches too much when it grows back. How can I make it go away?

Answer:

You poor thing. I understand that it seems like an unbearable burden but trust me; you will get over this ‘irritation’.

The development of public hair is a display of maturity, a sign that a child has grown from a child into a mature man or woman.

No one really knows exactly why humans have pubic hair, although several theories exist. The most compelling argument is that these hairs help to retain natural phermones produced by glands to entice the opposite sex and encourage reproduction with a suitable partner.

Another reason given is that hair are natural heat exchangers and as genitals are one of the most delicate parts of the body, they can't work in abrupt conditions like heat or cold.
Other theories put forward are the reduction of external friction during sexual intercourse, protection of sensitive pubic area and the protection of skin on the pubic area from certain infections, rashes, irritations and acne.

If you really can not make peace with those hairs, I could give advice but because you are still young and growing, I would prefer that you rather speak to a pharmacist or your doctor who will give you the best advice on hair removal.
