Councillor Christians has it all wrong on S&Ts

Allow me space in your much read news daily to put certain things straight on the article in the Namibian Sun of February 17, 2012 page 5.
It is a pity that the Keetmanshoop Rural Constituency Councillor Jims Christians, who is most of his time in the town of Keetmanshoop came up with S&T claims not being paid to him while he is only a stone throw from the Karas Regional Council premises – a mere 3 km.
I am not well acquaint with the term Subsistence and Travelling but that term alone brought to my mind I have to travel at least a certain amount of kilometres not specifically specified from one destination to another, and also to cross borders of constituencies. But living in Keetmanshoop and attending disunity meetings with people who does not uphold the noble aspirations of this Government and then to claim S&T from the Karas Regional Council while in Keetmanshoop is not fair. I mean, Councillor did you ask your fellow colleagues whether they also claim S&T while living in Windhoek whenever they drove over to the Khomas Regional Council.
Since the Keetmanshoop rural electorate voted you into position Councillor you never called a meeting with us at Kronlein which you claims is outside Keetmanshoop Urban Constituency.
To make a long story short, then you should start campaigning for Kronlein to be a constituency on its own or start working on the diminution of rates and taxes we monthly pay to the Keetmanshoop Municipality to that of Aroab and Koes, and that a satellite office be opened for us in Keetmanshoop Rural Constituency where we should pay our utility bills especially we who are residents of Kronlein.
The other matter you simply forget is that this is not Koes Village Council where you received S&T much higher than you monthly Salary as a Village Secretary.
Furthermore, I would like to remind the said councilor not to pick fights with elected or appointed politicians, as some of them even campaign with their own resources that you become a Regional Councilor today as you all are in the same boat. If you have a problem with someone, first get your acts right before accusing left and right otherwise it is high time we approach the relevant party on which tickets you are and recall you.
Councillor Christians, you should remember that we are waiting for the satellite office you mention to be opened in Kronlein and the upgrading of the sports stadium at Kronlein.
Being in this position, and crying foul on S&T as you did while you were at Koes Village Council, is not why we voted you.
