GREAT CAUSE

Global United, the first non-profit football club of renowned football celebrities worldwide who commit to sustainable, social climate protection on Friday, February 17 launched their latest endeavour at the Namutoni Primary School in Katutura. The club, through sponsor FNB, introduced this year’s event titled The FNB Global United Climate Kick with the theme Waste Not Want Not. Soccer enthusiasts are also in for a treat as some international soccer players will engage with Namibian football players in a match on March 17 at the Sam Nujoma Soccer Stadium. Here the organisers and sponsors are joined by some of the teachers and learners who will form part of the build-up to the game, which includes a recycling competition for the schools
